    Top 10 Things To See And Do In Norway:

    1. Oslo:

    It is known as one of the best cities in the world to live in, and the best place to visit in Norway. Oslo was founded in the 11th century and retained its historical heritage, including the Viking and historical constructions. In several museums, you can explore anything from ancient objects to art. The hip atmosphere in the meanwhile welcomes you to enjoy cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs.

     

    The capital of Norway is filled with attractions for every age and taste. You can visit the Nobel Peace Center to learn about the Nobel peace winners, and what they did that makes them deserve to win it. The Olsa Opera House is another amazing attraction. It is built in 21st century and made to resemble a glacier. You can attend one of the opera or ballet performance, or take a walk on top of it to have an amazing view of the city.

     

    Not to forget, the Vippa food court to enjoy some cultural food. You can try some Norwegian sea food. It is amazing and delicious. After finishing eating you can dip yourself in the urban sauna. It is not only healthy, but one of the most fun things to do in Norway.

    2. Lofoten Islands:

    This is one of the world’s most lovely archipelagos! Though the weather is surprisingly mild in this Arctic Circle. Lofoten has bluish water, abundant marine life, and even the world’s largest reef of deep-water coral. You can probably see why it is one of the top places to visit in Norway. If not, good things that we are not done yet.

     

    In summer, the area offers 24-hour sunshine and which allows tourists to constantly explore the region. The best things about it is filled with some jaw dropping scenic. The wildlife photography is one of the top things to do in Norway, and specially in Lofoten islands.

     

    Many enjoy to visit the Fredvang Bridges because they contains some breathtaking views that can make your heart palpitate. Many tourist visit the avilable beaches in the islands for surfing and other water activates, such as Ramberg Beach, Ytresand Beach, Uttakleiv Beach, and Haukland Beach.

     

    My favorite things to do in the Lofoten islands is hiking around and capturing some pictures of the surrounding. You can hike up to the mountains to have a clear view of the region. It can surely take your breath away. The Reinebringen hike trail is the best spot to enjoy all that mentioned.

    3. Romsdal’s Troll Wall (Trollveggen):

    The magnificent wall is in the Trolltindene mountains. The height of the wall is 1 100 m (3 600 ft) and is Europe’s highest vertical rock and for these climbers and base jumpers, it is also a worthwhile challenge. Different international climbing groups develop ten routes and new possibilities as the climate continuously changes due to the melting ice, storms, and rockfall. It is also a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site that many tourist visit each year.

     

     

    Another common activity is Trollveggen Camping at the mountain. It is located near the Troll Wall that separated by Rauma River. Fishing for solemn is popular activities that local attend to enjoy. At your camping spot you can have a breathtaking panoramic view of  Mt Romsdalshorn. You can also hike to the summit of the Trollveggan to have a magnificent  view of the surrounding.

    4. Fjords of Geiranger:

    The fjord is a branch of Storfjord, which is 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) long however It is classified as UNESCO UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, so the picturesque setting of the rugged and luxuriant green cliffs is characteristic. Many cascades plunge through these walls, adding additional charm to the spot.

     

    This amazing place contains lush and wild green vegetation. You can hike the Fosseråsa national hiking trail to see what I mean and enjoy a beautiful view of Storsæter waterfall. You can clearly see the lake that surrounded by mountains where is a perfect spot for kayaking and canyoning.

    5. Andøya, Hoyvika Beach:

    The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Norway, locating on the most northern island in the Vesterålen Archipelago. The entire island is surrounded by spectacular surfaces, high peaks, and the mountains of Hoyvika. And although the climate in Andøya is mild all year round, the temperatures do not fall much below freezing in the winter, although it is located in the Arctic circle.

     

    There are many hiking routes that you can take, but hiking Kvasstinden is the best things to do in Norway. It is the highest mountain peak  for about 705 m (2313 ft). The view from above is worth the effort, so make sure to bring your camera with you.

    6. Besseggen Mountain In Jotunheimen:

    Besseggen Mounntain in Jotunheimen is embedded between the blue lakes of Gjende and Bessvatnet. The mountain range is one of the most interesting sceneries in the land. It also draws Norway’s most walkers and backpackers. The most common way to go is by boat to Memurubu from Gjendesheim and then on foot. The path takes between five to seven hours.

     

    Side note: make sure to come prepare for the hike, and bring the essential hiking gears. The best time to visit is during summer, but the weather sometimes is unpredictable. It might change, so make sure to come prepare for weather change. If you are not an experience hiker, you can book a hiking guide.

    7. Hardanger, Trolltunga:

    This location often called the Troll’s Tongue Rock! is one of the most photographed places in Norway. Not surprisingly, since it is actually an impressive rock, protruding 700 m above Lake Ringedalsvatnet. The site, Hardanger, Trolltunga, is accessible from mid-June to mid-September. Walkers can enjoy spectacular views of the place.

     

    The reason why it is one of the best places to visit in Norway is because the rock formation situated above sea level in about 1,100 metres (3,600 ft). You can enjoy a beautiful view from above. To get to the top, you need to hike all the way up. It could take  7 -12 hours depending on your starting point . The question is it worth it, and the answer is yes.

    8. The Loss – Aurora Borealis:

    Aurora Borealis, one of the most important attractions in the Arctic circle, is the largest town in Northern Norwegen. Tromso also dropped about 6 hours a day in an area where the Northern Lights are visible!

     

    Furthermore, the town offers various outdoor and indoor activities despite the remote location of vibrant cultural life – from the musical to museums, from the stunning natural scenery to the ski path and a ski jump.

    9. Mosques, Hamnøy:

    This is one of Norway’s oldest fishing villages and offers various possibilities for the true Nordic lifestyle. In the original cabins of fishers the guests are accommodated – the oldest is from the 1890s! Today however all services, including the internet, are built inside and offer a fun stay in this wild environment.

     

    You can walk along the Hamnoy Bridge to capture a beautiful view of the town and the Reine bay . The picture from above is spectacular. As a matter of fact, it is the most popular photographed in Lofoten Island.

    10. Kristiansand:

    Kristiansand is located in Southern Norway, and it is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations. This city with its charming narrow streets can make you fall in love with it in split of a second. You should defintely visit Kristiansand Kanonmuseum (Cannon Museum). It contains germany defense during world war II. It is also known as Møvik Fortress. It is worth the title of the top things to do in Norway.

     

    After that you should visit the Narrow gauge preserved railway. It contains the Setesdalsbanen Railway line that is over 100 years old.
