The Third Highest Mountain In The World and Nepal’s second-highest mountain peak. It reaches an elevation of 8586 m sea level and is located between the border of Nepal and Sikkim. Tibet is also mentioned in the Kanchenjunga range. Kanchenjunga was not successfully climbed until 1955; however, in 1905, four members of international parties first attempted to climb, but they were killed in an avalanche.

Mount Manaslu is Nepal’s 7th highest peak and the world’s eighth-highest mountain, with an elevation of 8163 m above sea level. It is located in the east of the Annapurna, the 10th highest mountain in the world. Its name, Manaslu, is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘Mountain of the Spirit’. It is located east of a grand gorge that cuts through the Kali Gandhi River. Annapurna is the first 8000-metre mountain which was successfully climbed. Annapurna is a Sanskrit name which means Goddess of the harvests or provider of grains. Although it is the tenth-highest mountain in the world, it is one of the most dangerous mountains to climb and lies in the Annapurna Conservation area.
