1. Oxeman Cenote:

Oxeman Cenote is one of the most beautiful Cenote in Mexico. Due to it mesmerizing view and being an amazing diving spot, Oxeman Cenote becomes a popular tourist attraction. It is a cave that collapsed over the year that created a mature cenote with a few plants surrounding it. The light brighten your path and hitting the crystal clear water creating a beautiful view for those who adore nature.

 

There are trees surround it that you can see their roots extending inside the cenote. It is a beautiful view and educational at the same time. You can see how the roots of plants extend underground to reach water.

 

Not only roots that you can see, but also robs that you can hang on to them and  jump into the water. It is a fun experience that you won’t find in a regular swimming pool. You will also be swimming among small fish that tangle on your feet.

 

Note: if you have a diving license, you do not need to wear a life jacket, but if you do not, it is a must.

2. Cenote Calavera:

Cenote Calavera is another amazing spot to enjoy a diving experience. It is small, but equally exotic. There is a swing robe that allow you to swing back and forth above the water. Whenever you feel like it, you can let go, and throw yourself into the water.

 

It is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm 7 days a week, and charge fee of 100 MXN. Get your diving gears ready because the round sinkhole in Cenote Calavera have it all. Do not forget the cliff jumping it can sure add to your experience.

3. Kin Ha Cenote

It is a cave with many wholes on it. You can jump from its holes into the water. It is about 3-4 meter drops. This cenote is about 30 meters deep, which is great for free diving. Plus, the light beaming from the holes into the water creates a beautiful scenery.

 

In addition, there are ropes to zigzag across it, and then jump into the water. It is a fun experience that you can enjoy with your friends. There are robs that you can swing by them and jump into the water.  It is located in Kin Ha Park, so there are nearby activities that you can enjoy. There is anther cenote in the park called Blanca Flor Cenote. It is also contains an aquatic zipline.

4. Nativus Cenote:

Nativus cenote is located in the heart of Tulum and offers a glamping experience at Nativus Glamping and Cenote.  It is surrounded by Mayan jungle where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and the horizon.

 

While you can swim at the crystal clear water in the Nativus cenote, you also have a place to stay. The beach is not too far from you either, so make sure to give it a visit. You can try paddle boarding and kayaking at the beach.

5. Maravilla cenote:

Maravilla Cenote is one of the most beautiful cenote you can find in the Yucatan Peninsula. Once you sink to the bottom, you can see what I mean. You can see a thick sulfur cloud that feels like you are in Venus planet. It is a great place for scuba diving and free diving, so get ready for an experience of a life time.

 

What makes it great for scuba dividing is that it contains a big whole that divided into a cave system of little holes in the bottom while the sunlight clear your way.
