All these gear looks so useful for surfing. I am not an expert in the sport as I only took many years ago a lesson in Kuta, Bali. I bet you could also use those Cressi swim fins for snorkeling.
The XUKER wet suit is adorable, and so flattering! I didn’t realize there were such stylish options for surfing, and I would definitely want this one. I also love the sand-free towel, not just for surfing, but for any beach day. The storage pocket makes it especially handy. I wouldn’t have thought of a waterproof smart watch – that is indeed very smart!
Those all look like the perfect accessories to have a fun day at the beach here in Hawaii with all the right things to have here. The only thing missing is all the good food and drinks you can enjoy on the beach for a fun beach day.
So I realize there are people who have fun when the waves are big..
The surfing gears mentioned can also be used when surfing here in the Philippines since we have big waves too.
I used to have a snorkling fin coz I did freediving but I donated it to a charity organization so they can teach more people to freedive.
I have to admit Im not a fan of big waves though, I experienced big waves once when I was in a small boat traversing El Nido to Coron in Palawan and I almost died 🤪.. great adventure in the book of life though.
I have read so many things about Hawaii and surfing but I have never tried. It’s true that my home country, Romania, is fairly far away from Hawaii, but reading this about surfing triggers all my interests. It seems that I will need to research and learn so many interesting things about this sport.
I’m not a surfer, but it looks like you have put all that the surfers need when visiting Hawaii. Maybe when I go to Hawaii I will learn a little surf. I will check your suggestion when the time comes.
We are headed to Hawaii soon. We surely want to watch the great surfing in Hawaii – even if we don’t intend to join in the fun. It was interesting to see all the gear needed for the surfers. A sand free beach towel would be great to have to settle onto the beach and watch the surf show!
I have heard great stories of surfing from Hawaii because I have a friend who visited only for surfing. Also, it was great to read about surfing competitions in one of the blog posts and now your post on gears and equipment have educated me better. I am sure this is very helpful for those who wish to learn surfing. I will pass it on to my friend.
I have never been surfing so I had no idea what kind of equipment you need in order to be safe on the water. This post is very useful, especially for passionates of this sport, who are planning a trip to Hawaii. I know that Hawaii is a great place for surfing, a friend of mine travelled there to see a competition and loved it.
[…] enjoying some water activities. You can see many people surfing this month. All you need is your surfing gears to venture across the Waikiki beach or the North Shore beach. You can see why spending October in […]
Your blog has swiftly become my favorite source of inspiration. Thank you for sharing your exceptional perspective with the world of surfing. I go surfing as well, but I have never done it in Hawaii. It looks like I need to try it out. I need to upgrade my surfing lush, and the ABAHUB leach is a great suggestion.
Thank you, yes the ABAHUB leach is one of the best rated surfing leach on Amazon. I would say go for it.
Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing some research on surfing on Hawaii. His wife and him want to visit Hawaii for a long time, and surfing on his to-do list, since the waves are magnificent there.
I can totally agree. Surfing in Hawaii is one of the top things to do there, and the waves are like no others. Thank you for your visit.
This post reminded me of some important lessons I had forgotten.
