Sad that I’ve only read one of these books and have so many others to read from your fantastic list of travel inspired journeys. I haven’t been to Africa yet so The Last train to Zona Verde and Dark Star Safari both look intriguing and a good start to getting an insight to experiencing the gems of Africa.

That’s one awesome list of books to read on travel. I normally travel by train, so yes, I do need something to keep my company and these books are perfect. I like how it is a mix of fiction & non-fiction. 50 states 5000 ideas sounds like a perfect gift for my friend who has just moved to the USA. Into the Wild sounds interesting. Thanks for the Youtube, I’m gonna watch the movie too first, before getting the book.
