    They will also show you the location of the most iconic places in the city, such as Beverly Hills and the Hollywood sign. The tour is in downtown of LA. You can see them scattered by the walk of fame.

    San Diego is a coastal area in south California that becomes an adventurous and adrenaline junkie favorite spots. Whether it is the feeling of adrenaline rush caused by flying in the air with iFLY indoor skydiving or riding a roll coaster at SeaWorld, both can be anyone favorite experience.

    Some might prefer walking by Coronado beach or hiking on top of Torry pines state natural world. You can also snorkel at La Jolla Cove where you might find some jellyfish and sea lions.

    Whale watching at Beautiful Mission Bay is another experience you do not want to miss. Plus, the sunset at Cliffs natural Park is an amazing moment that worth capturing on a camera.

    Sesame place is a themed park that just opened in the area of San Diego. You can try one of the 18 startling roll coaster rides, and let your kids hangout with Sesame’s characters. If you have time right after, you can roam around downtown for some quirky food.

    There is a reason why San Francisco is one of the best cities to visit in June because of the nice cloudy weather and because of voiding the tourist crowd. The city gets busy from September to November.

    Therefore, it is better to go there earlier. Here, we will cover some fun things to do in San Francisco.

    We all heard of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is one of the most photographed bridge in the world since 1937. There is a park called by the bridge. It is the Golden Gate Park where you can unwind and relax.

    If you ever get hungry, you can hang out at the Union Square and stop by for the best shopping area in SF. You can also roam around the city by riding of the cable car systems. Trust me, it is more fun than it seems.

    In addition, Alcatraz Island used to be the unescapable prison, but now it is open for the public. You can book a tour online or at the location.

    4. Yosemite:

    In Yosemite beauty thrives under its spacious sky. All around you is green landscapes towering peaks and vast forest, which makes it a perfect place for camping and hiking.

    So gather your camping and hiking gears for an exclusive overnight experience at Yosemite Natural Park and the Giant Sequoia Hiking Trail.

    In winter, you can see the snow tumbling down the mountain. However, during summer, the snow is melting, which creates thunderous waterfalls.

    As a matter of fact, Yosemite fall is one of the largest waterfalls in the world. By now, you can probably see why Yosemite is one of the best places to visit in California during June.

    You can take a tour such as Velley Floor tour that will take you around Yosemite Valley and show you the most iconic places in Sierra Nevada such as Yosemite falls, Half Dome, and Bridal Veil Fall

    5. Crescent City:

    In Crescent city, Redwood National State Park contains a tree called Coastal Redwood. They are the tallest and oldest trees in the world. They absorb fog water through their leaves.

    The place is quite and extremally beautiful, which is a an optimal place for picnic or camping. You can also take walk around the Redwood Wild River and fishing is the best part, but make sure to fellow the local regulations.

    Not far off, you can head down to Crescent beach and Pebble beach for a swim. You can also overlook a breathtaking scenic on top of a cliff or probably jump off to the water.

    The weather of Catalina Island is warm during June, which makes it perfect to dip yourself in water or have a sunbath.

    As a matter of fact, Catalina island is ample with water activities. One of my favorite things to do there is parasailing around Avalon bay.

    7. Santa Barbara:

    Santa Barbra is well-known for its breathtaking sceneries and nature is in every corner. It is filled with beaches and parks that can take your breath away.

    You can enjoy paddleboarding, kayak, surfing at butterfly beach in Montecito or play volleyball near Cabrillo Boulevard in east and west beaches.

    You can also play volleyball and baseball at Stow Grove Park in Goleta that has redwoods and eucalyptus trees. Not to forget the beautiful sceneries of nature and turtle passing around the Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden.

    If you ever visit east beach, you can see Chase Park across from you. It is a good place to unwind and read a book. 

    From June to September is the best time for whale watching in California and Santa Barbra in particular. You can see Gray whales, blue whales, and humpback whales swimming along the coast.

    It is satisfying to see them breaching and clicking to navigate through the ocean.

    Hiking at Santa Ynez Mountain range can be both fun and Calisthenic. You can hike the mountain close to the Gaviota Coast for better view of the ocean.

    Some also prefer biking or horseback riding to navigate Santa Barbara’s mesmerizing landscapes. It can be fun to saddle across the Santa Ynez valley.

    8. Sacramento:

    Sacramento is the capital of California. It is where the White House located and where the president and his family lives. Not only that, but also Sacramento is an iconic place that have rich history about California.

    Thus, it is one of the best places to visit California in June. The weather is cool, and the heat can be endured.

     

    The first place to start is Old Sacramento. It has California State Railroad Museum that contains old cars and locomotive used in California back in the days.

    So learn about California railroad history and experience the past. You should then head down to Sacramento History Museum and the California Hell of Fame Museum.

    The American River is for those who adore nature. Sacramento called the city of trees after all. The river surrounded by trees in both sides.

    Thus, it is a good place to relax and practice solitude. My favorite activity is biking at the American River Bike Trail. It can go on and on forever, and you never get tired of it.

     

    There are many water activities that you can do at the River, such as kayaking, rowing paddleboarding, and water bicycling.

    You can rent any of those at Sacramento Aquatic Center and many others.  If that does not fit your mode, you should head to Sacramento Raging Water. It is a water theme park with 25 rides. 

    9. Long Beach:

    Long Beach is one of the most beautiful cities in California. It is ample with beaches along the coastline. The shoreline Pedestrian Bike Path passes by many beaches, and it is an optimal place to have a bike ride. You can enjoy the breeze of the ocean while enjoying some  beautiful scenic.

     

    The aquarium of the pacific and Rainbow Harbor are in Downtown Waterfront not far off from the bike path. Long beach is well known for its vibrant waterfronts. Thus, you must visit the area. The Queensway Bay is also close by with many ships on deck and water activities on the watersides.

     

    Not to forget the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Botanical Gardens in California State University Of Long Beach where you can have a reflection and relaxation at the Zen Garden and a drink at the tea house. You may want to watch out for the KOI fish raging against the waterfalls streams around the Turtle Island.

    10. South Lake Tahoe:

    Many prefer to visit South Lake Tahoe in the summer. Thus, June is a good time to visit the city for some hiking, beach, and lake activities.

    It is the time of the year when the snow melt or melting creating waterfalls, such as Eagle Falls and Cascade Falls. You can hike to the waterfalls‘ locations for some breathtaking views.

    David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa is a good place to relax and have a spa treatment. It is not far off the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

    You can head there to enjoy mesmerizing scenic either by hiking or climbing the mountain. The meeting for rock climbing would be an Eagle falls Trailhead.

    There are many activities for all ages at Heavenly Mountain Gondola And Tamarack Express. The Ski Heavenly Resort is good for kids.

    There are activities, such as Mountains Coaster, Granite Peak Climbing Wall, Red Tail Flyer Zip Line, and many more.

    You can take the Tamarack Express Chairlift for some amazing sightseeing and head up to the mountain. It is the place where you can decide what activities you can do after.
